Adidas Introduced A Platform For Creating NFT Avatars In The Metaverse

A major sportswear brand continues to push its way into the NFT space and is building the Ozworld platform in collaboration with Ready Player Me, which provided the software to implement the metaverse.

In a press release on Adidas.com, the company announced the launch of “the world’s first AI-generated personality-based avatar platform.” This initiative coincides with the launch of the latest Ozworld brand collection:

“Designed to empower and open up the pursuit of self-expression for all, Ozworld’s online experience allows users to create their own unique digital selves, which can then be used online exclusively with Ready Player Me, the metaverse’s gaming avatar creation platform, which allows anyone to explore virtual worlds with a single identity. This is the first partnership with a brand that pushes the boundaries of the platform by offering generative avatars compatibility with over 1,500 different apps and games in the metaverse.”

Adidas NFT owners will get early access to the avatar platform , with the first batch of avatars coming to the metaverse on April 28th. All you need to do is answer a couple of questions about yourself and choose your favorite shoe model from the Adidas collection.

Ready Player Me is one passport to different metaverses, according to information on the official website of the platform. The functionality of the platform is huge , for example, you can create an avatar from your own photo, then customize and import it into more than 2000 different metaverses and games. Or you can buy a limited-edition avatar on their website and sell it on different marketplaces.
