A year ago, on July 29, Coca-Cola entered the world of NFTs and metaverses for the first time. On their first anniversary, they decided to hold an airdrop for their fans. It coincided with Friendship Day, which is celebrated on July 30.
All customers who bought NFT Coca-Cola a year ago will receive an airdrop. Recall that they were sold at the OpenSea auction, and all the money went to charity. The owners of the first collection became members of the cult brand’s metaverse. Also, in addition to the NFTs, they received a branded jacket for the avatar.
A new collection of art tokens is dedicated to… bubbles in a bottle of Coca-Cola. Interestingly, this time NFTs are made on the Polygon blockchain.
Tokens should have already gone to the wallets of collectors. They issued 4,000 NFTs in total. Owners have the right to resell their crypto-pictures; floor starts from $9.
Brand-name NFTs are generating a lot of hype. So, Tiffany sold out the NFTiffs collection in 20 minutes. Moreover, for 30 ETH each (approximately $50 thousand). In total, they issued 250 art tokens and made a profit of about $12.5 million.
