The Crystal Method To Release A Major NFT Music Video

Las Vegas-based electronic music group The Crystal Method is set to release NFT’s first music video from a major label. This will be the video for the lead single “Watch Me Now”, which will be auctioned on MakersPlace, the premier marketplace for rare and authentic digital art.

This NFT will be put up for auction on April 26 at 01:30 Moscow time. The lucky owner of the token will receive benefits such as a limited edition animation and an open camera from the video.

The video itself is a unique visual experience that uses a creative mix of 2D, 3D, black and white and vibrant color animation to depict a love letter to Nevada, where the band hails from. At the same time, the clip tells about a certain woman who ended up in the Mojave Desert, in the neighboring state of California, where she calls on the powers of her “Crystal Ship”, and then wreaks havoc in Area 51 and pursues the electronic group The Crystal Method.

Ahead of the landmark release, band co-founder and member Scott Kirkland spoke about his excitement about the project, as well as thanking the video’s cover artist:

“My first NFT release is a collaboration with brilliant animator Micah Monkey, which will be released on April 26th. Micah has created an epic and breathtaking visual for my new single “Watch Me Now” with Koda & VAAAL. As the lyrics say, “This is not a joke!”.

The Crystal Method are true pioneers of the big beat electronic backgammon genre with The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, The Chemical Brothers and other popular bands. Best known for their work in the films Blade, Gone in 60 Seconds, Resident Evil, Fast and Furious, Pirates of the Caribbean and others. Having conquered films, series and games with their music, the electronic duo returns to spread their ideas in the new NFT space.
