Atlético Madrid Football Club joins forces with WhaleFin to partner with the move-to-earn app STEPN. The parties will create a collection of Genesis NFT sneakers.
The NFT collection will feature 1,001 Atlético sneakers ranked Common, Uncommon and Rare, all of which can be used on the STEPN app.
The design of the football boots will include elements related to trophies, stadiums and football club players. As part of the first round, WhaleFin will release 180 shoes, including 160 Common shoes, 19 Uncommon shoes, and an exclusive pair of Rare shoes. STEPN will be releasing 20 pairs of Common Series sneakers this round.
Sneaker owners can use them at STEPN, but the football club and its sponsor WhaleFin will also provide special bonuses. For example, a chance to get one of 11 signed soccer jerseys, the right to participate in airdrops and much more.
Atlético and WhaleFin will launch a separate draw for NFT owners who have a chance to win VIP travel for two to a match in Madrid.
“This strategic alliance with WhaleFin opens up a new world of opportunity for the club and our fans worldwide. Exploring new ways to connect with our fans and with communities like STEPN allows us to discover the innovative possibilities offered by Web3,” shared the football club representatives.
