Instagram will expand NFT support to 100 countries. In addition, now there will be integration with two new wallets – Coinbase Wallet and Dapper. And the list of blockchains was supplemented by the Flow network (in addition to Ethereum and Polygon).
How will it work
To add their NFT, the user must connect the digital wallet to Instagram. To do this, go to your profile settings and find the new “Digital Collectibles” section. Available wallets will be displayed there. Then choose the desired wallet, connect, and transfer NFT.
Recall that earlier, the social network integrated with Rainbow, MetaMask and Trust Wallet. And with Coinbase Wallet and Dapper Wallet, we will have 5 wallets to choose from.
Tokenized pictures are marked with the inscription “Digital collectible“, and there are also automatic marks of the author or collector.
New options will be introduced gradually in different countries, so content authors must be patient.
The social network does not charge for posting or sharing NFTs. At least for now.
