  • It consists of nine gold-plated skateboards with a unique design.
  • Each NFT is tied to an actual item
  • The presentation is scheduled for October 21

Azuki has announced the release of a new project. This is a collection of PBT tokens with a material embodiment. The company claims that in this way, it wants to connect the virtual world with the real one.

Azuki announced this on the official Twitter page. The Golden Skateboard collection will be presented on the site on October 21st. This is a limited edition of nine gold-plated skateboards with a unique design. The plating is made of 24-carat gold.

What is PBT?

These are tokens based on the ERC721 standard of the Ethereum network. These are some material objects, each equipped with a BEAN cryptographic chip.

He is responsible for verifying the identity and rights of the owner to a specific materialized token. It does not require centralized servers, while the chip can generate asynchronous decentralized vital pairs for authentication.

When selling or donating a token to a new owner, it is enough to “ bind ” the chip again. Mint PBT is free, and the technology’s source code is in the public domain.

An example of PBT is Tiffany’s CryptoPunks owner’s collection of pendants. Pendants sold out on the first day.

Mixed Reactions

Azuki’s initiative has received mixed feedback from netizens. So, for example, some commentators accused the company of trying to ” shove ” tokens, hiding behind the epithets ” new look at NFT ” and ” unique collection. “

There have been similar projects before. PBT technology is by no means new, so this positioning of the product seems too loud.

Others noted that the project chose a miserable model for its collection. One way or another, after the announcement of new tokens, the Azuki project became the leader in daily sales on OpenSea.
