Is Elon Musk’s “Halloween Surprise” Somehow Related To Bitcoin?

Billionaire inventor Elon Musk is known for leaving cryptic comments on Twitter, and his tweet from a couple of weeks ago took the internet by storm. It includes a reference to Neuralink, Musk’s neurotech company.

“Neuralink update demo October 31st (Halloween),” Musk tweeted.

Many have speculated that the “Halloween Surprise” is a speculative idea involving bitcoin in some way. Supporters of this idea claim that Musk is a bitcoin enthusiast, and he often discussed possible uses for this cryptocurrency. Some even speculate that Musk himself is Satoshi Nakamoto, the mysterious inventor of bitcoin. By the way, Satoshi posted the famous white paper on bitcoins on October 31st.

Another version is connected with the release of the so-called “neurocurrency”. Supporters of this theory believe that Musk’s company has found a way to process a person’s thoughts and translate them into zeros and ones, which can lead to the monetization of a person’s thoughts. Enthusiasts believe that Musk can link the “neurocurrency” with bitcoin.

Back in 2021, Elon Musk criticized the current concept of the metaverse and stated that Neuralink could become an improved metaverse in the future. As soon as a digital chip appears in the human brain, all actions will take place inside the brain.

If Neuralink eventually becomes a metaverse, it could use bitcoin as its in-game currency. Proponents of this idea asked the question: “What if Musk develops some way that allows people to explore the metaverse in their own brain, and then pay for goods with bitcoins?”
