In 2021, the art performance Back to the Roots was held in North Ossetia, a year later, PushKeen moved the objects created as part of this event to the NFT space. The NFT collection is listed on the OpenSea marketplace.
The Back to the Roots project involved 10 best street artists from Russia and neighboring countries. Among the artists are Stas Bags, Rustam Kubik, Ilya Is, Konstantin Uzhve, Misha Mak and others. The event lasted six days, during which the artists enjoyed the nature of North Ossetia and created their own works of art. A gallery of legal street art emerged as a result of this event.
Despite the fact that real art objects are located in hard-to-reach places, PushKeen made sure that they became accessible to everyone and transferred them to the NFT space. The resulting NFT collection tells about the culture of North Ossetia. Each token is a 3D model of a spinning stone with individual graffiti by each artist on one side and a photograph on the other side.
The collection can already be purchased on the OpenSea platform, and part of the proceeds will go to the development of tourism in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania.
