- OpenSea integrated the sixth network
- The administration has already added more than 100 NFT collections based on Optimism
Yesterday, September 26, the NFT marketplace OpenSea announced that it will add support for the Optimism ecosystem. Also, tokens from the Optimistic collections will appear on the basis of the site.
This is the sixth network that has been integrated into OpenSea. Prior to this, the marketplace added support for Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, Klaytn and Arbitrum.
As part of the agreement , tokens issued on the basis of Optimistic will appear on the site. The marketplace has already added about 100 collections, including Apetimism, Bored Town and MotorHeadz.
It should be noted that the volume of trading on the OpenSea platform fell significantly against the backdrop of a global recession in the digital asset market. For example, in August this indicator decreased by 99% .
The integration of new collections will allow the marketplace to attract more users. Prior to this, the vast majority of token transactions went through the Optimism NFT Quix resource.
However, even now, when OpenSea is in decline, the daily sales volume on it is incomparably greater in comparison with the “native” Optimistic resource.
