Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa, Warren G, and the late Nate Dogg appear in Snoop Dogg’s latest project.
Over the course of this year, the Long Beach rapper has been more musically active than in the past, especially in the NFT world. Just last week, Snoop Dogg and his colleague Eminem performed in the images of Bored Ape Yacht Club at the MTV VMAs, and today it became known that Snoop is releasing a mixtape – Metaverse: The NFT Drop, Vol. 2, a project involving old faces and megastars.
Of all the projects Snoop has released over the past couple of years, this one has the more familiar rapper style. In it, he raps over smooth beats, California-style beats, Neptune-style beats, and everything in between.
Longtime collaborator October London appears at the top of the track listing, with Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa, and Warren G also featured. Snoop Dogg also includes a posthumous contribution by Nate Dogg, who appears alongside Warren G on “Rolling Down The Highway”.
As such, more NFT records can be expected from Snoop Dogg as he has stated in the recent past that he will be taking his home label Death Row Records into the NFT space.
