A couple of hours ago, the STEPN developers took to Twitter to announce that their long-term plan to earn GMT is finally coming to fruition. Almost two months ago, the creators of STEPN were talking about what GMT farming would look like in the game .
It was stated that GMT earnings would be implemented in STEPN in stages. And the first stage is the opportunity to receive tokens on level 30 sneakers. This long-awaited option will appear in the game in the next 24 hours!
What do you need to know?
- You will need any level 30 sneakers in any of the STEPN worlds.
- Next, you will need to switch from GST earnings mode to GMT earnings mode in the application, there will be a special function for this.
- No world has advantages over another – GMT earnings are calculated in total for all worlds.
- There will be no cooldown period when switching earnings modes.
- The amount of GMT earned will not decrease daily. Instead, GMT issuance will be halved exactly 2 years after the GMT start date.
- Rainbow sneakers are the next step in STEPN’s global GMT pharma era and there will be no rainbow sneakers for now. The developers will announce their appearance later.
Stages of earning GMT
We remind you that the stages of farming GMT are as follows:
- Classic (level 30 sneakers)
- Rainbow (rainbow sneakers)
- Rainbow Plus (rainbow +)
- Schadenfreude (secret stage)
Each stage will roll out gradually, and the Classic Stage is about to begin, in which players can earn their first GMT by walking or running.
