On July 31, the first offline NFT marketplace in Russia will open in Kazan GUM with the technical support of the RMS group. The project organizers wanted to give the digital space a physical embodiment.
On the mall’s fourth floor, visitors can view NFT paintings and even purchase one or more works by ten local artists. Among them are Liya Safina, Fayaz Azizov, Airat Shakiryanov, Rafis Bulatov, Russell This is, Danis Kasimov, DENEROG, ATMONEZ, DANIGUBAI, and Artgoray.
In addition, at the entrance to the store, visitors will be greeted with a digital avatar of a sales assistant, from whom they can learn more about the store and the exhibition. Each NFT can be purchased by scanning the QR code.
The curators of the project and the artists on this day will talk about themselves and their work. Visitors can participate in the competition and win commemorative prizes, such as merch or tickets to the NUR International Media Arts Festival. The event will take place from 9 to 11 September.
Offline NFT marketplace will work until September 11th. The international festival of media art “NUR” itself promises to be large-scale – the event will take place in 10 locations in the city.
