- Emirates continues to promote the idea of metaverse integration
- The Ministry of Economy opens a virtual office
- In it, you can get advice and even sign an agreement with officials
Yesterday, September 28, UAE Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Tuk Al Marri announced that the agency is preparing to open an office in the metaverse. It is noteworthy that it will provide the entire range of services, including bilateral agreements with the authorities and businesses.
The politician made such a statement within the framework of the first of its kind, the Dubai Metaverse Assembly. This conference was held in the Emirates yesterday, September 28th.
This is how the minister commented on the new project:
“This is not a concept. We’re talking about a full-fledged third office.”
The department already has two representative offices – in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Functionally, the new office is no different from theirs.
In it, visitors can get advice, sign legally binding papers, and negotiate. As Al Marri put it, this is the agency’s ” third address “.
The politician noted that this is not only a ” curtsy ” in favour of new technologies but also a fundamental step towards simplifying diplomatic relations. Now officials do not need to travel to the UAE for small agreements.
We previously reported that a metaverse hospital has opened in the Emirates. The institution is fully functional and provides all the necessary list consulting services.
