About 3 million NFT wallets have been created on the Reddit platform. However, most of them are intended only for storing NFT avatars.
There are more than 3 million crypto wallets on the Reddit platform. However, eight out of ten such wallets were created after the social service launched its avatars NFT marketplace. Then, many users had to register the Vault blockchain wallet from Reddit to store tokens.
This information was presented during the TechCrunch Disrupt conference. As Reddit director of product Pali Bat commented, about 2.5 million wallets have appeared to store purchased avatars in the non-fungible token ( NFT ) format.
However, the result is that the total number of wallets on Reddit now exceeds that of the largest NFT marketplace, OpenSea. It has only 2.3 million active wallets.

Reddit traditionally demonstrates a friendly attitude towards the crypto space. Its ecosystem even has two of its cryptocurrencies — MOONS and BRICKS. There is a built-in Vault wallet to store crypto assets on the platform.
Recall that the NFT avatar service launch on Reddit was a huge success. All tokens were sold for $5,000 (4 ETH) each. Only 40,000 avatars have been released, and the new tokens are no longer available. However, a limited Halloween NFT collection is expected.

Reddit is also known to be giving away NFT avatars as airdrops. The criteria for receiving free tokens were not completely clear; however, apparently, the recipients were users with a higher rating according to several criteria. They, too, can sell avatars and place them on the blockchain.
The popularity of tokens from Reddit turned out to be so high that it went beyond the platform. Some even managed to break into the top 10 collections based on the Polygon blockchain on OpenSea. Over the past 30 days, the trading volume of The Senses x Reddit collection has reached 224 ETH.

Another popular collection is Foustlings. Her trading volumes for the last 30 days were 247 ETH. In general, there are only a few collections from Reddit on OpenSea.
