Trips Trade has become a decentralized version of Airbnb, allowing its customers to rent accommodation and book hotels in Phuket using NFT.
The service outwardly resembles a standard hotel booking site, although the platform’s creators compare Trips Trade with OpenSea. How does he work?
Owners who want to rent out their homes sell NFT tokens (called BNFT on the service). The tenant can purchase a token on the booking date and move in or resell the token on the exact dates to another tenant and make a profit.
All transactions are carried out on the Polygon network. You can pay for your booking using crypto assets such as FRAX, USDC, DAI, or USDT. To do this, you need to connect your crypto wallet to the service website.
While the service is available in Thailand, the creators plan to expand in Europe.
