Software development company Build A Rocket Boy has released a trailer for its Everywhere game co-developed by Leslie Benzies, also known for developing the Grand Theft Auto series of games.
After a while, the list of vacancies was updated on the official website of the company. The studio is looking for blockchain and NFT experts. Those closely following the development of Everywhere are wondering if the game will be based on new Web3 technologies.
Among the professionals that Build A Rocket Boy is looking to give life to the Everywhere project are the roles of senior back-end programmer, smart contract developer, and tester who will be working on what is described as the “Edinburgh Blockchain Team”.
Community doubts prompted Build A Rocket Boy representatives to take to social media to provide clarification:
“We noticed some misunderstandings related to NFTs and cryptocurrencies mentioned on our site, so we want to clarify the situation. This is a job for a team that does research in this area, we are looking for specialists because we simply do not want to reject new technologies just because a suitable solution has not yet been found for their implementation. We are building Everywhere on Unreal Engine 5, not on the blockchain.”
The Build ARocket Boy team also added that Everywhere is a new dimension for players to freely come together to play, watch, create and share content.
