Experts from the Nansen analytical service spoke about the most popular collections of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the Ethereum network over the past week as of 10:30 am Moscow time on September 2, 2022. They reviewed the volume of trading operations with collections of virtual art and told which of them became the most interesting for investors during the reporting period.
The famous collection of Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and DigiDaigaku became the leaders of the week. They far outperformed their competitors. Traders secured trades worth 4,981 ETH ($7.93 million) and 4,822 ETH ($7.69 million), respectively.
Industry experts noted that in general, there was no high interest in NFTs last week, due to the fact that the cryptocurrency market was again under bearish pressure. This came after the statements of Fed Chairman Jerome Powell on August 26, 2022. He stated the institution’s harsh policy in its plans to deal with the rising inflation rate of the US dollar.
Other projects yielded to BAYC and DigiDaigaku in terms of sales by 2 times or more. Among the leaders of the week were such collections as RTFKT Clone X Forging SZN 1 (2472 ETH), Ethereum Name Service (2401 ETH) and Black Box (2368 ETH).
Deal volumes for each of the meetings failed to exceed $4 million over the past week, which, according to analysts, was a very modest result. Nevertheless, experts emphasized that the NFT industry should not be written off. The popularity of the technology will steadily grow as the Metaverse and the gaming industry develop.
