UFC Will Offer Fans To Collect Iconic Fight Moments In The Form Of NFTs

UFC’s new NFT sports project aims to bring fans the best fighting moments of their favorite MMA fighters. UFC Strike NFT is primarily video clips that include beloved MMA UFC fighters such as Connor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Israel Adesanya and many others. Moreover, UFC Strike will accompany each new round of fights with the release of a new NFT drop.

The last drop took place not so long ago – on May 3, and it was immediately sold out . However, it can be purchased from the UFC Strike Marketplace. UFC NFTs came about through a partnership between Dapper Labs and the company that runs the UFC. Dapper Labs is best known for its sports NFT collaborations such as the NBA Top Shots. In turn, UFC Strike was first released on January 23, 2022 and instantly won success with fans. The project made $6 million in sales of digital collectibles.

“That was incredible. Everything we put up for sale was sold out in minutes. If it continues in the same direction as now, it will be massive, ”said UFC President Dana White at the time.

Profits from NFT not only benefit the company, but also the fighters, as they have started to receive 50% of the token sales.

UFC Strike NFTs have five rarity levels:

  • Fandom – does not have any restrictions
  • Contender – has 10,000 to 25,000 moments
  • Challenger – Has 250 to 999 Moments
  • Champion – has 25 to 99 chances
  • Ultimate – has no more than 10 rare moments

Also, tokens are available for trading on secondary markets. If the user liked the “moment of the fight” or spotted their favorite UFC fighter on the market, they can connect their wallet to the official marketplace and confirm the link. Some NFTs have a number of benefits, such as meeting your favorite fighter or VIP passes for future UFC fights.

With Dapp Labs having a proven track record in creating and selling sports digital collectibles, UFC Strike NFT is well positioned to benefit everyone from creators to fighters to fans.
