Instagram continues to develop its features related to the NFT space. Not too long ago, the social media platform finally allowed users from 100 countries worldwide to post their NFTs. Now the social network is going further, announcing that it will allow users to create NFTs without leaving the platform.
The new feature set is still being tested among a limited number of digital artists, including Amber Vittoria, Refik Anadol, Jason Seif, and Dave Krugman.
Instagram will also allow NFT to be shown in video format, adding support for the Solana network and the Phantom wallet.
Meta has confirmed that until 2024 it will not charge for the demonstration and distribution of NFT. However, due to iOS and Android regulations, Instagram NFT purchases through these operating systems will be taxed.
