The press service of the OpenSea platform announced the upcoming release of Monkai NFT on its Solana launchpad. The event will take place on July 26, 2022, offering users a new generation of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
The new project will focus on the anime industry and creating a thematic community in the gaming metaverse. In addition, it will offer users of the product high-quality VFX tools (combining video captured on a camera (Live Action Footage) compiled with objects generated in computer programs (CGI).
Monkai founder Joshua Keser is known in the industry for his many years of experience in the film industry. He has won numerous awards for blockbusters like Passengers and Arrivals and has been the lead developer of crypto start-ups like SkullBots, Sol Flowers and HolyVerse NFT.
OpenSea has stated that the first collection in the upcoming release will be the Gen1 storyline set in Japan’s Edo period. The project follows the storyline of the Monkai and Yokai bloodlines that fight to conquer new lands. Players will learn more about these clans by participating in the development of the history of the Great War.
The new tokens will be a multi-chain NFT. Once Genesis is implemented on Solana, OpenSea will launch multi-chain assets with this collection on Ethereum.
The tokens will have influence in the Monkai ecosystem as a tool for trading and gaming functions. A week after the launch, there will be a release of the single-player version of the game.
