RTFKT has announced the first collection of Clone X phygital apparel that fans can access based on the traits of their specific Clone X avatars.
Alongside this, RTFKT also unveiled a 60-piece digital clothing fashion collection. NFT holders can create physical goods out of them.
The Clone X collection, created in collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, consists of 20,000 3D avatars.
RTFKT has released 10 collections of digital wearables based on the Clone X token, including Human, Reptile, Robot, Alien, Murakami Drip, and more. Collections include caps, t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, and sneakers that can be unlocked with the wearer’s NFT.
Almost all digital clothing items can be turned into physical items that will be equipped with NFC tags. Owners can link them to their NFT, giving them access to future drops and physical events.
RTFKT is also releasing 10 pairs of the Clone X-inspired RTFKT x Nike Air Force 1 Digital Running Shoes. The sneakers are not part of this event and will remain digital wearables for now, meaning wearers can expect to be able to turn them into physical running shoes in the future. .
Owners of the Murakami Drip avatar will have access to the first ever digital RTFKT x Murakami x Nike Air Force 1 sneaker, part of the Murakami Drip collection.
Mint will start tomorrow and will last until September 7th. And physical clothing items can be obtained from September 7 to September 14. However, prices range from $30 to $600, which makes some users unhappy.
